NNA Volunteers Needed – American Lung Association Scale the STRAT | Feb 22, 2026

We are seeking NNA volunteers to support the American Lung Association’s Scale the STRAT event in Las Vegas!

February 22, 2026
7:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower | Las Vegas

This iconic climb supports lung health research, education, advocacy, and community programs. As nurses, we understand what it means when someone struggles for breath — this is our opportunity to serve beyond the bedside and represent NNA in our community.

Volunteer Shifts & Roles

Shift Options:

Early Morning (5:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
• Set-Up Crew – Assist with tables, chairs, signage

Morning (6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.)
• Registration – Check in participants, distribute bibs & materials
• T-Shirt Distribution
• Packet Pick-Up

Mid-Morning (8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
• Course Support – Cheer on climbers, direct participants, monitor stairwell
• Start Line Support
• Water Station

Late Morning (10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
• Finish Line Team – Hand out medals & water, celebrate climbers
• Awards Support
• Break Down Crew

We will finalize our NNA volunteer roster and coordinate assignments after the deadline.
